It's been a bit since my last post (not that anyone actually reads this stuff anyway) and since the whole point of a blog is to talk about what's on my mind I'm going to do just that.
Warning: if your are weak of stomach or very empathetic of others pain, I don't suggest reading the next little bit here.
Recently I found out that my brother had to go in for surgery, of course noone of my family tells me this until after he's already under the knife, all they told me was that he had a problem peeing but that this should fix it. I left it at that for a while.
The next time I saw my brother I decided to ask him about what had happened and what he described to me was so horrible all I could do was sit there and gape like a school girl. Apparently it was taking him upward of 10 minutes just to take a piss and it burned the whole time, when he went to see the doctor he determined that the end of his urethra was too small and that was causing all the discomfort and that he would need surgery soon to prevent any long term problems (Prostate Cancer being a major concern). I don't know all the details of the procedure but I do know that at some point they had to make four slits around the tip of his penis opening up the urethra, this itself sounds very, very, painful.
It gets much worse however. Every night for the next 6 months my brother has to ensure that those slits don't' heal together again, how do you do this? By sticking a freaking 4 inch needle INTO IT EVERY DAY. And if that isn't bad enough he usually ends up aggravating the control muscle and usually wets himself in the process. How embarrassing.
Personally, given my aversion to sticking things with needles (it's not that I'm afraid of needles, just that I could never stick one into someone else, or myself for that matter) I think I would endure the long stand at the stall and the risk of health problems down the road rather then ever stick a needle into that particularly sensitive spot.
Look on the bright side, he'll know what to expect when he decides it's time for a prince Albert

Things have been going good, nope I didn't win the 90 million dollar powerball, ohh well.
In Final Fantasy news I've been leveling my cooking skill which is currently sitting at 44 I do believe, I'm probably going to take it to 50 but that's about it. Leveling fishing is a PAIN in the arse considering my low tolerance for repetition, notice that it didn't bother me with cooking for some reason...... Well anywho I'm off for my 13th consecutive day of work, wish me luck in not horribly maiming the incompetents.

Ok, so it's been a while since my last post, things have been a little busy in my life with working 6 days a week ect.....
ok item #1 JTC and I had a lengthy discussion on my last post and the conclusion we came to is that many, many people are to blame, for not using the checks and balances that are already in place. Check ID, Know where your kids are, don't drink and drive, friends don't let friends drive drunk. We agree that reparations are necessary but 3 million is a bit excessive for a tragedy that could have been prevented by several people to be put on one entity. Although I don't recall details of the accident leading to the death of those poor souls, I strongly encourage anyone who's property was damaged to seek reparations from the families who children caused the damage (Since the people themselves are currently deceased)
#2 I hate Mondays, I hate Mondays, I HATE FRICKING MONDAYS
#3 still not a millionaire, or ruler of the world... perhaps more planning is necessary.... nah....
#4 only because it's the most recent
Doing good deeds makes me feel good about myself. Today after work I helped a co-worker who had no other options move a queen sized bed about 30 some odd blocks. All it cost me was an hours time and little bit of gas, I only accepted half of what she offered me because I know she is a struggling single mother, I would have taken nothing at all if I didn't know that I too was struggling, so I compromised with myself for half.
however this was not my good deed
After dropping off the bed I headed to good old king soopers to buy some soda and chips, a scratch game vending machine caught my eye and I bought after some indecision, a $1 scratch game. I went out to my car and played the scratch game, my winning numbers were 12 and 13, my prize numbers were 12, 13, 12, 12, totaling $8 in winnings.
I Decided to head over to a near by gas station to claim my prize and fuel up. Upon arriving I see a young girl, about 19-20 I would guess, who looked a bit flustered and watched her walk over to a pay phone while I fueled. After a few moments she put down the phone, by the time she was there I surmounted that she had not actually gotten ahold of anyone. So I offered her my phone, she said it was just a flat and that she would simpley put more air into it, I let it rest at that.
After fueling I went inside to see about cashing my prize, as it turns out Colorado lottery machine's turn off at midnight and don't go back on again until 6am, note its about 1am at this time. I return to my vehicle and notice the young woman still at the air station, I note that she had been there for about 6-8 minutes and her tire does not appear to be holding the air.
A thought came to me, I could offer this woman assistance or turn the other way, by turning the other way I would go home, play my video games, and be perfectly happy. By offering here assistance, I run the risk putting myself in harms way by means of her turning out to be a serial killer or being chased by one ect.... Many perfectly good reasons as to why I should do nothing crossed my mind. but then I thought,
If I die, I die, it was probably my time anyway, I'd rather die trying to do good then to have one person I could have helped suffer because I didn't care enough, I may not consider myself Christian very often, but many of those beliefs still exist in me. Although I dislike and distrust organized religion, I still believe in helping others for nothing in return.
So I offered her assistance, she asked for a ride to her home, I kindly obliged, made idle talk on the 4 minuet drive to her apartment wished her well and drove home.
I'm still alive.
She is no longer stranded.
My roommate is still a pessimist who thinks it was a bad idea to invite a stranger into my car.
But life, goes on

So much to vent, so little time....
Ok for the first and foremost event in my mind that has me off the deep end is a story I heard last night when I got home. Some local college students bought a keg, without being ID (note that they were under age) and took it to a party. At said party many people drank from said Keg and got trashed. Incidentally two people from that party made the choice to drive home drunk, got in accidents and died. The parents of the two (whom I believe were also under 21, not confirmed though) sued the LIQUOR STORE where the Keg was Illegally Purchansed, and WON 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS EACH!!!!
My personal assessment of why I think this is an Injsutice:
the two "victims" chose to go to said party, chose to drink, and made the choice of DRIVING DRUNK. Although the liquor store should not be let off the hook I do not believe that any kind of civil case should exist against the liquor store, yes they broke the law, but so did the underage "victims". If they had obeyed the law or even made a few smarter choices they wouldn't have put themselves in harms way. The liquor store should be shut down, but not by the parents of a couple of idiots but by the LAW.
You disagree? GOOD! I don't have a comments section up yet so send your argument to cyan@nqig.net and I'll get your comment posted when I get that section put up.

As promised, my quote's of stupidity for today. Keep in mind these are just a few of the extreme ones, I don't have enough time to write down all the stupidity I have to deal with.
I'd just like to note that these are real question people asked me today, and just so there is no confusion it is a MAJOR franchise I work for, not just some mom and pop pizza place.
1st phone call of the day: What kinds of drinks do you have? "We have Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite in 2Ltrs or 20 oz bottles" "2Ltrs, are those the big bottles?"
many calls later: "Do you sell French Fries"
and one of my last phone calls: The lady, during the middle of her order asks "Do we want Hot or BBQ wings?" I assume that she is talking to someone in the same room as her, but alas assume make an ass out of u and me once again because she was, in fact, wanting MY OPINION ON WHAT SHE WANTS!!!
ahh well life goes on, at least I got to talk to Aleshia the HOT asisntant manager from the store directly south from us. That was fun, can't remember what she was saying, just kept thinking about weather or not she's a screamer......
"Who put the freak in French Fries?"
"There aint no FREAKIN FRENCH FRIES!!"
Mood: perturbed
Aha Monday, the beginning of the work week and also the day that the most ignorant of the populace decide to order pizza. It has been my experience over the past 3 years that people have a brain malfunction starting on Monday that lasts roughly 24 hours. This of course, is why I hate Mondays.
Occupationally speaking this means that every customer I deal with is grossly incompetent and disturbingly stupid. I will try to remember some of the more interesting highlights for the day and bring them to you tonight.
Powerballl Update: Nope didn't win, neither did anyone else though so this Wednesday's drawing is up to 61 million. After taxes+fees that's around 30 million cash.
awe.... That's a lot of money..... What would I do, buy a house, car, buy my parents a house, then lots of gluttonous spending until my conscience reminds me that I need to donate to charity as well. Then I'll kick back and live off of savings till I graduate college, use the money to start a business and employ all my friends (if education is required I'll pay for that too).
Behold the power of Cheese!!!
