Following the year and 6 months of working for Domino's pizza, I am ready to move on to bigger and better things. Papa John's... well it's a bigger store anyway.  I am following my dreams... err my boss anyway as we trek from the bowels of domino's into the domain of the prestigious Papa John's...well it's clean and new at least.

My reasons for leaving Domino's. Well, to be honest I'm not real sure why. I like my job, albiet it's not the best thing there is but it's not bad either. I work with my friends and have a real fun time. but my wallet really misses working with Heather.  She let me work extra hours whenever I needed it. So I guess I'll be following her to Papa Johns.  Unfortunately the location isn't that great and i have to take a pay cut, but if I get the kind of hours i was before it should all work out.

Day 1:

So today I  begin my journey, I arrived early and was presented with my uniform.  Unfortunately it's purple, but that can be dealt with.  Nothing too interesting to report for today, just your standard first day troubles.  Trying to learn their system and the way things are done there.  Met Jared, the local dough master, he seems nice enough but I feel kind of bad knowing that I'll be getting all the hours that he used to get.  He lives with his roommate who was supposed to get this store, but Heather got it instead.

Day 2:

Not all that much different from day one. although I'm writing this several weeks later I can remember it pretty well. This is the day that I decided that something wasn't right. it was more then just first day jitters.

Day 3:

Nothing too much to report today, more crap about the store and who is going to be the assistant manager, more running short on food products and so on.

Day 4:

Today I was supposed to go to orientation. But I didn't have any of the paperwork i was supposed to have and I also wasn't told what time it was. I called the store and the assistant manager Marcus was no help so I tried 3 times to contact heather, no go there, so I didn't go to orientation, worried about wither or not I'm even allowed to work anymore I don't' go in.  The next day I try once again to contact Heater and figure out what I should do, nothing again. So, after having no contact from my boss for 3 days and no idea what I should do, I do the only thing I could think of at the time. I go running back with my tail between my legs to Domino's. It was a little embarrassing but I could deal with it. At least I'm able to be at a place where I know that I'm being taken care of and I have job security. So Heather if your reading this I'm sorry but I really tried to contact you and to anyone else this is my lesson to you, if your happy, stay put!
