Not everything in life is quick and simple. For that matter, rarely does anything ever go as you expect it to. My life is no different than anyone else’s; I run into problems on a regular basis. Whether it’s needing to be able to readily convert a raw string into a HTML acceptable text, with the entities encoded, or something more sinister, these little bits of “entertainment” find their way into my life regularly.

Now I could just accept my fate and do everything manually, or just abandon the project, but what’s the fun in that? So what you’ll find below is a set of simple tools to accomplish some of the many tasks I’ve needed over the years that I felt had some practical use outside of my own little world. However, because of their limited necessity, they are unrefined, so don’t expect any kind of fault tolerance or heavy testing. The fact that they run at all was the whole point at the time.
